Krasnodar, 26 November – Yug Times. The Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Krasnodar Region and Grodno have reportedly signed a co-operation agreement. Grodno Region has been appointed a partner in co-operation between Belarus and Krasnodar Krai.
"According to the results of the first half of the year, Belarus accounts for four per cent of the total trade turnover of the region. In this part, we can seriously increase the scale by working with Grodno region.
We have interest both in the sphere of imports and exports. We already have 79 of our companies working at the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange,’ said Vice-Governor Aleksandr Ruppel.
"Kuban is a highly developed agriculture. In this part we are interested in exchange of technologies, selection of hybrids of sugar beet, corn, and sunflower seeds. We are ready to meet the needs of your region in agricultural machinery and nitrogen fertilisers.
Kuban wines are more than a brand, they are a kind of wine tourism cluster. We are ready to import them and work on their popularisation in the Belarusian market. Investing in the resort and recreational infrastructure of the Krasnodar region could be another promising area," Vice Chair of Grodno Regional Executive Committee Vitali Nevera said.
