August 23, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for benchmark oil grades are experiencing a slight increase during Friday's trading session, following a rise at the end of the previous session.
The price of the October futures contract for Brent crude on the ICE Futures exchange rose by $0.06 (0.08%) to $77.28 per barrel by 09:20 AM. At the close of trading on August 22, the October Brent oil futures contract had appreciated by $1.17 (1.54%) to $77.22 per barrel.
Meanwhile, the price of the October futures contract for WTI crude on the NYMEX commodity exchange climbed by $0.05 (0.07%) to $73.06 per barrel by 09:20 AM. At the end of trading on August 22, the October WTI oil futures contract had gained $1.08 (1.50%) to settle at $73.01 per barrel.
