On November 17, 2020, the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech), supported by the Skolkovo Foundation, Russia’s leading development institutions and the Embassy of Japan in the Russian Federation, will host the first online Russia-Japan workshop within the Science and Technology in Society Forum (STS Forum).
For over 17 years, the STS Forum has been a high-profile expert platform that brings together thought leaders from business circles, academic communities and public authorities to share insights on the “bright and dark sides of science and technology”. The workshop will look at the prospects of expanding the scope of cooperation between Russian and Japan, with emphasis on societal needs and, primarily, the ways of addressing COVID-19 and post-pandemic challenges.
The workshop will be conducted in English only. The participants will have an opportunity to ask questions to the speakers and communicate freely with one another in online mode.
