Highways Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District become safer thanks to the project on planting of trees

On Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District started the new project on experimental landing of protective forest belts along roads on September 22 within the project planted the first saplings on 1322 kilometer of highways Surgut - Salekhard. The main task of these trees – protection against snow drifts. They will help to prevent education snowdrifts. Forest belts will serve as protection against a strong lateral wind which it becomes frequent the reason of emergencies, and also will provide soil fixing on sandy sites of highways.
