Yevropeyskaya commission fined Intel $400 million for "abuse of a dominant position"
Antimonopoly regulators EU after all fined Intel COR €376,36 ($400 million) for "earlier established abuse of a dominant position in the market of computer chips" (so in legal documents call x86 family processors). Blooomberg reminds that earlier in 2009 Yevropeyskaya commission already imposed on Intel a record penalty of €1,06 billion, but in 2022 itself cancelled punishment as European court decided that regulators made mistakes in the decision relatively allegedly illegal discounts which Intel provided to producers of the personal computer...
