For the end of 2022 in the State register of place names in the territory Murmansk Region was registered 7947 names of geographical objects

During the first half of the year 2023 Management Department of federal service for state registration, Inventory and cartography on Murmansk region checked completeness of filling of the State catalog of place names. Documents on Frontier establishment between Russian Federation and Finland are for this purpose used.
