Moscow on May 2 (information agency "Big Electric Power News") — On Nizhegorodskaya GES within implementation of the Program of complex modernization of hydroelectric power stations Public joint-stock company "Federalnaya Gidrogeneriruyushchaya Kompaniya-Rusgidro" began (PKM) of work on hydrounit replacement with station No. 1, reports the press service Public joint-stock company "Federalnaya Gidrogeneriruyushchaya Kompaniya-Rusgidro". It is the second hydrounit from eight which will be updated on hydroelectric power station. The hydrounit No. 1 was put into operation in 1955 and so far developed standard service life.
