In Krasnoyarsk Popkov Dimitri pronounced a sentence on the case of murder in 2017 of the editor-in-chief of the Ton-M newspaper. According to the version Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation, murder of the journalist was ordered by the former Krasnoyarsk deputy Khashiev Isa with whom the editor-in-chief had a conflict on local elections.
