Ancient city of Torikos: the house dated the IX century B.C.] is foun

Archeologists from the Goettingen and Gent universities continue excavation in the ancient city of Torikos located in Central Greece. Their latest discovery – the remains of the house relating to the IX century B.C. It is the first such house found in Region of Attica. Torikos it is known thanks to fields of silver and monuments of different eras. There are Mycenaean tombs, the remains of settlements of archaic and classical eras, and also theater impressing by the size , containing some thousands of people.
