According to forecasts of the Latvian center of environment, geology and meteorology, in April the high water on Daugava will proceed.  In east part of the country large-scale flooding of floodplains and lowlands is observed now. The water level continues to rise in Salatsa, Gauye from Valmiera to Tsarnikava and in Daugava, and also in some rivers of its pool. The water level and in some rivers to Kurzema rises.
