The system operator of Estonia Elering finished reconstruction of VL of 330 kV of Balti – Tartu. It is the first fully complete project within a course on synchronization of power supply systems of the countries of Baltics and continental Europe. Within reconstruction support and wires were replaced with 133 km VL site. Besides wires of the main cross-border VL on its support wires of several VL of 110 kV of local value that allowed to dismantle 150 km of outdated VL were placed, having released thereby about 750 hectares of the earth for land owners.
