20 years ago these days the world tensely watched advance of armies of United States of America and their allies to Baghdad. Three weeks were required to take the Iraq capital and to force to run Saddam Hussein — one of the most cruel governors of the second half of the XX century. However first successful campaign turned back years of occupation, led to a civil war and wave of terror in Iraq. Hundreds thousands people were lost. Still Iraqis cannot unambiguously answer a question: whether overthrow of a mode of all was worth it that happened to the country later.
