The Russian Antarctic expedition finished a summer aviaseason

14.03.2023 Experts of the Russian Antarctic Expedition (RAE) of the Arctic and Antarctic research institutes successfully finished a summer aviation season in Antarctica. From October, 2022 to February, 2023 airfields at stations Novolazarevskaya and Progress provided performance of 70 flights of aviation vessels of various class. The ice airfield at station Novolazarevskaya for a summer season provided performance of 18 flights of the heavy SILT-76 planes on the wheel chassis.
