Memory of one of pillars of an orthodox monkhood – Saint Veliky Makary, Egyptian (%2B 390/391) – is celebrated by Orthodox Church on February 1. Saint Veliky Makary was a sort from the village Ptinapor in Nizhny Egypt therefore it still became history of Church and as Veliky Makary Egyptian. At the request of parents in youth he married, but having quickly become a widow/widower, went deep into belief, often visiting the temple and reading the Scriptus.
