BAMF: to Germany in a year the number of demands for a shelter from other countries grew almost by 30%

For 2022 to Germany 244 132 demands for granting a shelter from other countries, not including Ukraine were registered. About it reports ARD TV channel with reference to these departments concerning migration and refugees (BAMF). It is specified that the number of demands for granting a shelter grew by 27,9% in comparison with 2021 when they were given by 190 816 people. As notes TV channel, the majority of inquiries in BAMF arrived from citizens from Syrie (70 976 people) and Afghanistan (36 358 people).
