Croatia was included to Schengen and eurozone
Zagreb, on January 2. Croatia passed to euro and became part of the Schengen area. The historical moment for the country was noted by a meeting of the Croatian prime minister Andrey Plenkovich, the president Slovenia Natalia Pirts Musar and the chairman of Yevropeyskaya commission Ursula Gertrude fon der Lyayen. The meeting took place on earlier operating boundary transition. Since the beginning of 2023 Croatia refused national currency kuna and became part of the Schengen agreement.
