15.11.2022 In Falasarn's ancient acropolis on the island of Crete archeologists send a vase with a name of the goddess Demetra on a Doric dialect and hundreds clay female figures, Ministry of Culture of the Republic Grechesk is told in the statement. Falasarn's acropolis was during the Hellenistic period a prospering Greek seaport on the westernmost tip of Crete. Demetra's temple was built on the rocky hill that nothing prevented people to worship to the goddess of agriculture, fertility, seasons and maternal love – in the Greek mythology these "functions" are appropriated to Demetra.
