Futures for wheat were higher during the night auctions as speculative investors who opened short positions in the market or staked on lower prices, redeemed contracts and recorded profit after yesterday the prices fell to the lowest level in a month. Futures for wheat with delivery in December grew at the Chicago commodity exchange by 4 cents to 8,38 dollars for bushel while futures Kansas City grew on 3¾ cent to 9,38 ¼ dollar for bushel.
