Statisticians found in Kemerovo Region "a death zone"

Mortality to Kemerovo Region continues to overtake birth rate: the mine country everywhere becomes extinct. However in one municipality a situation especially terrible. Civil Registration Administration of the Kemerovo region published on Friday statistical data on birth rate and mortality in the third quarter (July – September). From the report it became known that as a whole in the region 5 323 kids were born for this period, 8 834 persons died. Thus, mortality exceeds birth rate by 1,6 times.
