SKR became interested in demolition of a monument to liberators in Riga

The chairman Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin charged to central office of department to organize check in connection with the decision of the Latvian authorities to destroy a monument to Liberators Riga. Action of point of the intergovernmental agreement between Latvia and Russian Federation about protection of monuments to the Soviet soldiers is suspended now by Diet of Republic of Latvia. It gives the chance to local authorities to dismantle objectionable to them historical monuments.
