52 forest fires flashed in 24 hours on all Greece

Decrease of wind during the night helped fire service to localize some fires in different parts of Greece. According to fire service, on Monday 52 forest fires caused by a strong wind and high temperatures flashed. The forest fire which was uncontrollable blazing on Monday evening on three fronts near the city of Amfissa in municipality Delphi, Region of Central Greece, was partially taken under control on Tuesday, the fire service reported.
