Police officers detained five poachers with smelts on Sakhalin Region

Residents of Sakhalin continue to get smelts catfish illegally. For some days police officers caught five poachers in Poronaysk district who caught fish on more than 140 thousand rubles. About it reported in the press service of Department of Ministry of internal affairs of the Russian Federation on Sakhalin region. So, one of violators of the law got a net in the river Poronay of 572 smelts. The sum of the caused damage made 31 460 rubles. In other case two poachers transported 957 "catfishes" in cars.
