China reduced the areas under corn by 1,8% because of expansion of crops of soy

By estimates of Ministry for agriculture China, in 2022/23 MG the cultivated area of corn in the country made 42,52 million hectares that is 1,8% lower in comparison with an indicator of the previous season, reports information agency "Reuters". It is specified that reduction of the areas under the grain happened at the expense of increase in crops of soy and other oil-bearing crops, especially in northeast regions of the country. So, the cultivated area of soy in Heavenly Empire in 2022/23 MG grew by 18,3% in a year — to 9,93 million hectares.
