The Russian national team on speed skating passed in a semi-final of team pursuit at the Olympic Games in Beijing. In a line-up Daniel Alekseevich Aldoshkin, Alexander Rumyantsev, Sergei Trofimov and Ruslan Zakharov. Russians took the third place. Their result made 3.38,67. They resisted to Chinese.
