Chemists found out the mechanism of phototransfer of an electron of fluorescent protein

The staff of chair of physical chemistry of chemical faculty of Moskovsky state university named after M. V. Lomonosova, Moscow State University named after M. V. Lomonosova, Moskovsky university or Moscow State University together with scientists from University college London investigated processes of oxidation of chromophore of green fluorescent protein in water solution. Results will allow to expand considerably a scope of one of the most actual ways of tracking of activity of proteins and will help to create a biosensor for definition of active forms of oxygen.
