The Anglo-Dutch oil and gas corporation Royal Dutch Shell declared coming into effect of the decision on reduction of the name of companies to Shell. "The corporation confirmed today change of the name from Royal Dutch Shell with plc on Shell plc. Board of directors made the decision on name change on December 20. This change came into force now" — is reported in the press release of companies. It is noted that Euronext Amsterdam, and also the exchanges London and New York were informed on change of the name of companies.
