Last year in respublika Altay 623 persons addressed for the medical help concerning stings animals, thus neglected dogs bit 196 people, by domestic dogs – 320 people, cats and other animals – 107 people. Most of all bitten in Gorno-Altaysk (182 persons), Mayminsk (126), Chemalsk (63) and Ongudaysk (48) areas.
