In Smolensk will abolish district administrations

On a morning planning meeting on January 10 the mayor Smolensk Andrey Aleksandrovich Borisov told city authorities about the forthcoming optimization. First of all changes will concern administrations Zadneprovsky rayon, Leninsky rayon and Promyshlenny rayon. Their powers and functions will be transferred to divisions of municipal administration by Smolensk in the status of the Managements, created by the territorial principle of monitoring. Generally the functionality of new managements will remain the same, but some duplicating functions will be liquidated.
