Merge Bat Yam with Tel Aviv is cancelled

The Minister of Internal Affairs Arye Deri notified today mayors Tel Aviv and Bat Yam that the plan for merge two cities is cancelled because the city halls Bat Yam was succeeded to reduce budget deficit. Municipality Bat Yam reported that budget deficit which made nearly 100 million shekels by today was reduced to 19 million, and will be covered by 2023, according to the financial plan. The idea of merges Bat Yam with Tel Aviv in 2014 too belonged to municipality Bat Yam. The plan became result of work of the special commission.
