China in 10 years turned from the rural country into the city — census results

The population, living in city areas of the mainland China, reached 901,99 million people, reports on May 11 information agency "Sinkhua". According to National bureau of statistics China, with reference to data of the seventh national population census, the share of urban population in structure of the population of Heavenly Empire makes 63,89% of total number by data for 2020. According to bureau, the share of urban population on 14,21 percentage points was higher, than in 2010 when the previous population census was carried out.
