On April 14, Minsk / BELTA/Correspondent. Scientific BGU Sinchuk Oleg and Брестский state university named after A. S. Pushkina Kolbas Alexander recorded distribution atypical for Belarus the wrecker - a box pyralid. Belarusian cable agency "Belta" reported about it in the press service of BGU. This is a butterfly of the average extent of silver-white color with a brown-black border at the edges of wings. Danger to plants is constituted by its caterpillars which eat young leaves and stalks of a box evergreen. For the first time the insect was found in 2019 in the Kamenetsky area by locals.
