The working group of human rights activists of United Nations following the results of independent legal examinations declared that arrest of the former head of Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Carlos Gon to Japan at the end of 2018 was illegal. they characterized actions of Japanese prosecutor's offices as an arbitrariness and urged to pay to Ghosn compensation and "other compensations".
