Saint Petersburg. August 6. INTERFAX the NORTHWEST - In Saint Petersburg on August 9 there will take place the commemorative events devoted to day of the end of the Leningrad fight, Alexander Nikolaevich Rzhanenkov told chapter of Gorodskoye committee on social policy to journalists on Thursday. "The city and all northwest lived during this period in special conditions. Thanks to a feat of soldiers serious forces of Germans and Finns were delayed. It gave the chance to Moscow and to other regions to approach a victory. The legislative assembly accepted addition in the law on memorials. Now on August 9 it is one more memorable day, 9 May, Victory Day in Leningrad...
