Demand for fowl in Bulgaria reached record level

The consumer demand for fowl in Bulgaria reached record level in 2019. However production meat of a duck seriously was influenced by the outbreaks of bird flu in the country. Meanwhile, import of meat of broilers grew more than by 10% thanks to the increased local demand. Prospects for 2020 are carefully optimistical and strongly depend on a situation with distribution Koronavirus in Bulgaria.
