It is the only railway station in Russian Federation in constructivist style — it was constructed in 1929-1933 according to the project of the architect Kaverinsky Vladimir. During restorations the base and bearing designs were strengthened, engineering systems are updated, platforms (including they became convenient for handicapped people) are reconstructed and the building both inside, and outside is restored. The task was to keep architectural concepts of the 30th years of the last century, but at the same time to make the station convenient for modern citizens: new canopies and board were established, there was a new system...
