Impressive achievement! The Kenyan runner Eliad Kipchoge became the first person who has overcome a marathon distance less than for two hours. On Saturday, October 12, 34-year-old Kipchoge ran the Vienna marathon in 1 hour 59 minutes 40 seconds. The record will not be recorded officially as the marathon in Vienna is not included in the program of Международная association легкоатлетических федераций. The success was not casual – Kipchoge was going to establish a record.
