National assembly of Azerbaijan at plenary session approved on April 21 the candidate Mamedov Novruz on a post of the prime minister of the country, reports of Information company Report .

Before appointment Mamedov Novruz held a position of the Assistant to the President Azerbaidjan Ilkham Aliev on foreign policy questions. Its nomination supported all 113 deputies who were present at meeting.

Ilkham Aliev thanked now the former prime minister ARE Arthur Rasizade for work. Arthur Rasizade held this post since 1996.

Mamedov Navruz to the Nakhchyvansky Autonomous Republic Azerbaidjan. Since 1997 worked as the manager of department of external relations of Presidential Administration. In 2012 it is appointed the deputy head of Presidential Administration. Since 2017 the Assistant to the President Azerbaidjan concerning foreign policy – the head of department.

on April 11 in Azerbaidjan extraordinary presidential election took place. Following the results of processing of 67% of percent of bulletins, Ilkham Aliev won on elections with result of 86,02% of votes.
