It is necessary to make it on the general and strong fundamentals of international law, without any double standards and attempts of use of extremists in the mercenary geopolitical purposes. Such initiative was taken on one of the last sessions UNGA by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. It still fully keeps the relevance, including taking into account accruing terrorist threat. Despite a certain progress in fight against this evil, it continues to deliver a huge number of problems to many countries and regions.
We discussed a situation in Near East and the North of Africa, in particular, round the Syrian settlement. Russian Federation as the permanent member UN Security Council and the participant of the Astana process actively is engaged in assistance on overcoming of the Syrian crisis. We also made the contribution to common efforts on implementation of the resolution 2254 UN Security Council, having carried out with the Iranian and Turkish colleagues the Congress of the Syrian national dialogue in January of this year to Sochi.
We confirmed withfull support by Russian Federation efforts of the African countries on fight against terrorist threat in their territory, especially in the Sakharo-Sakhelsky region where terrorists began actively to try to dictate the conditions after invasion into Lybia took place, and this country turned into the chaos territory.
We will be and to cooperate further with our Mozambiquean friends in all listed formats, strengthening as well bilateral dialogue in all directions of our interaction.
