On Madagascar remains an adverse epidemiological situation in connection with the outbreak of plague, Federal Agency for Tourism urged it to consider when planning trips. About it reported in the department press service.

As it is specified, WHO (WHO) warned about the strongest outbreak of plague on Madagascar over the last 50 years. During the period from August 1 to November 22, 2017 on Madagascar more than 2,34 thousand cases are registered by plague from which 202 came to the end with a lethal outcome.

Plague is an endemic illness on Madagascar where about 400 cases of diseases annually are registered. The previous flash was registered in October, 2017. Thus, unlike last years, the large Antananarivo and Tuamasin.

According to messages of mass media, more infectious pulmonary form of plague which can kill the diseased within 24 hours at the moment gained distribution. As specifies WHO, the illness is treated by antibiotics, but viruses quickly mutate and can become resistant.
