National bank Republics Kasakhstan presented to the statistician of use of payment cards and electronic banking services as of January 1, 2017. Emission of payment cards in RK carries out 26 banks and JSC Kazpochta. The specified organizations let out and extend payment cards of the international systems which share makes 98,7%: VISA International, MasterCard Inc., American Express Co. International and UnionPay International. In a year the share of cards of the international systems grew by 3,5%.

Besides, banks Kazakhstan let out payment cards of local systems: Altyn Card, Joint-stock company "Narodny savings bank Kasakhstan", and a local card JOINT-STOCK COMPANY KB"CITIBANK" Kazakhstan — JSC <4> Citybank Kazakhstan".

As of January 1, 2017 15,7 million payment cards are in circulation, and the number of holders of these cards made 14,2 million people. In comparison with a situation on similar date 2016 reduction by 8,5% of cards in the address and for 0,7% — number of holders of cards is recorded.

In December, 2016 volumes of transactions with use of payment cards of the Kazakhstan issuers made 1136,5 billion tenge. Growth in comparison with December, 2015 made 26,8%. The number of transactions for December, 2016 made 34,9 million and increased in comparison with December, 2015 by 25,8%.

Growth of number of non-cash payments made 50,8% (13,6 million transactions). The sum of non-cash payments grew by 59,9% (volume made 191,8 billion tenge). The number of operations on cash withdrawal of money by quantity increased by 13,8% (21,3 million transactions), and on the sum increased by 21,7% (volume made 944,7 billion tenge).
