"The meeting of seven leaders of the African countries with Israel has epoch-making value. It shows huge shift in the relations between Israel and Africa, and it begins here — declared to Netaniyagu, speaking at the summit in Uganda. — It is caused by the big changes which are occurring around the world. In the 21st century there is a huge impulse to progress, to development of opportunities in the field of technologies, but at the same time we are threatened by cruel medieval ideology which wants to return us back to the Middle Ages, to destroy our societies, ours freedoms and our hope.

Therefore we have to act in parallel in two directions: first, to develop our countries and to advance them in the future, and secondly, to fight against those forces which want to tire out us back in gloomy times. We are able to do it. I consider that Israel is the ideal partner for the countries of Africa. I would like to thank from the heart leaders of the countries which are present at this meeting. I think that we created the base for further development of the partner relations. We trust in it, and it not mere words. Each of us in the country already started working in this direction, but we consider that there are many opportunities of expansion of cooperation with all African countries.

I once again thank you for remarkable, warm welcome, for your friendship. Israel comes back to Africa. Africa comes back to Israel".
