Vladivostok, Primorye24 news agency. Inhabitants of Vladivostok trained rare for the city in pantomime art. To teach citizens to an original method of transfer of an artistic image the known mime Laurent Decol in France – the pupil of the outstanding actor Marcel of Marceau was invited.


Let's note that earlier in Seaside state art gallery the exposition of the French engraving opened. At the same time, for citizens the French ball at which guests dressed suits of the last centuries was held and danced to classical music. The French club of a spoken language became one more event.


"The French culture, as well as any other, does not consist of any one cut, whether it be only painting or theater. Therefore we decided not to be limited to only one excursions, and decided to capture many aspects of this culture , - the manager of scientific and educational department of art gallery Yulia Blazhenkova . - When we started cooperating about "Alliance Frantsez" which invite actors, artists and other cultural figures of France, we decided to invite the known mime Laurent Decol. Similar event very not format for our gallery, but thus we expand culture".


Guests of the different age were invited to a master class on a pantomime, however the greatest interest was shown to "lesson" by school students. From first minutes Laurent Decol suggested children to break into couples, and to become one a statue, to another – the sculptor. According to the pupil Marcel of Marceau to accept an image of a silent statue – one of the best ways to experience pantomime art.

"When I lived in France, I always wanted to play at theater. The only problem, I could play Molière only in France – because he in French. I looked for ways how to become the actor both to share art around the world and to be understood by all. So I found for myself pantomime art in theater of gestures. I was lucky that I worked with the greatest mime in the world – Marseille Marceau.
